Olive Leaf Extract — 700 mg
Standardised to 20% oleuropein, providing 140 mg oleuropein.
Oleuropein is a characteristic phenolic compound in olive leaf. Our Olea europaea extract specifies its concentration at 20%, making clear how much oleuropein is contained within the 700 mg extract serving.
Nattokinase — 10,800 FU
Specified by enzyme activity.
Originally identified in natto, a fermented soybean food, nattokinase is an enzyme. Its quantity is expressed in fibrinolytic units, or FU, which measure enzyme activity under test conditions. This tells you something different from ingredient weight alone.
Aged Garlic Extract — 500 mg
Standardised to 0.5% S-allylcysteine, providing 2.5 mg SAC.
S-allylcysteine is a stable, characteristic compound used to standardise aged garlic extracts. Our 500 mg extract contains 2.5 mg SAC within that amount, so you can see both the quantity of aged garlic extract and its specified SAC content.
Astragalus Root Extract — 350 mg
Standardised to 5% astragaloside IV, providing 17.5 mg astragaloside IV.
An extract of Astragalus membranaceus root with a defined astragaloside IV content. This named botanical constituent is specified within the extract, giving a clearer account of its composition than extract weight alone.
Coenzyme Q10
Included in a liposomal form.
CoQ10 is a naturally occurring compound involved in cellular energy production. CARD1O’s development formula includes a liposomal CoQ10 preparation, with the delivery form identified alongside the ingredient.
Vitamin K2 — 312 micrograms
Menaquinone-7, or MK-7.
MK-7 is a form of vitamin K2 with a longer circulating half-life than vitamin K1 in human comparative research. Our formula identifies the specific form and includes 312 micrograms per full serving.
Vitamin D3 — 1,000 IU / 25 micrograms
Cholecalciferol.
Vitamin D is included in the D3 form, cholecalciferol. Each full serving provides 25 micrograms, equivalent to 1,000 IU, with the form and amount clearly stated.

Supplied as L-selenomethionine.

CARD1O is a daily supplement formulated to support cardiovascular health. Developed by Day One Performance alongside Murat, it combines botanical extracts, vitamins, minerals and other selected ingredients in a vegan friendly capsule formula.
How do I take CARD1O?
Take six capsules daily with food. You can split this into three capsules in the morning and three approximately six to eight hours later, also with food. Use only under medical or dietetic supervision.
How long does a bottle last?
Each bottle contains 180 capsules, providing 30 days at the recommended daily serving of six capsules.
What ingredients are in CARD1O?

Why do you use standardised extracts?
Standardisation specifies how much of a particular compound, or group of compounds, an extract contains. It tells you more than the extract’s weight alone.
For example, our 500 mg aged garlic extract is standardised to 0.5% S-allylcysteine, providing 2.5 mg within that extract. This is included in the 500 mg, not added on top.
Is CARD1O vegan friendly?
Yes. CARD1O contains no animal products and uses HPMC capsules rather than gelatin capsules, making it suitable for vegans.
Does CARD1O contain soy or other allergens?
Yes, CARD1O contains soy. It is manufactured in a facility that may also process milk, eggs, tree nuts, peanuts and wheat. Check the full allergen statement before use. Do not take CARD1O if you are allergic to soy or any other ingredient in the formula.
Can I take CARD1O with medication?
Speak with your doctor or pharmacist before taking CARD1O with any medication, particularly anticoagulant or antiplatelet medicines such as warfarin, apixaban, aspirin or clopidogrel. CARD1O contains nattokinase and vitamin K2, which raise specific interaction concerns. Show your clinician the full ingredient panel and do not change prescribed medication yourself.
Can I take CARD1O with other supplements?
