At Day One, we believe real heroes don’t ask for recognition—they earn it through unwavering commitment, day after day. The Day One Hero Program exists to give something back to those who serve our communities with discipline, courage, and care.
This initiative is our way of saying thank you to frontline and support heroes—emergency services, first responders, nurses, doctors, SES personnel, volunteers, defence force members (currently serving & veterans), and reservists.

Who is eligible for the Day One Hero Program?
The Hero Program is our way of saying thank you to those who serve our communities. Eligible members include emergency services personnel, first responders, healthcare workers, defence force members (current and former), SES volunteers, and other approved service professionals.
How do I apply?
Simply complete the application form and upload proof of your eligible service (such as a work ID or service identification). Once submitted, our team will review your application and notify you via email.
How long does approval take?
We aim to review all applications within 1–3 business days. During busy periods, approvals may take a little longer, but we’ll process your application as quickly as possible.
What discount do Hero members receive?
Approved Hero members receive an exclusive 15% discount on Day One Performance products. Once approved, your discount will be linked to your account for easy access whenever you shop.
Can I use my Hero discount on sale items?
Unless otherwise stated, the Hero discount cannot be used in conjunction with other promotional offers, discount codes, bundles or sale pricing.
Does my Hero discount expire?
Your Hero status remains active while you’re eligible. We may occasionally request updated verification to ensure the program remains exclusive to those it was created for.
Can someone else use my Hero discount?
No. The Hero discount is personal to your account and is not transferable. Sharing or misuse of the discount may result in your Hero membership being removed.
What if my application isn’t approved?
If your application doesn’t meet the eligibility requirements, we’ll let you know. If you believe there has been an error or your circumstances change, you’re welcome to contact us or submit a new application with additional supporting information.
